Job Title SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Machine Operator Location Longmont, CO Shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday Pay $18 - $22 per hour (DOE) Job Description We are currently hiring an SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Machine Operator for a manufacturing company located in Longmont, CO. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and programming SMT machines, specifically MyData, and a strong understanding of the SMT process. The candidate must also be able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changes in a fast-paced setting. Main Duties & Responsibilities Operate and program SMT machines (MyData experience preferred). Perform visual inspections of SMT assemblies. Interpret assembly and fabrication prints for the Surface Mount Department. Oversee SMT processes, analyze data, and work to reduce scrap levels. Experience with Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) is a plus. Provide engineering support for SMT prototype and production lines. Create common setups for SMT jobs to reduce the number of setups and tear-downs. Skills & Experience 2-5 years of experience as an SMT Operator. 2-3 years of experience in a production environment, specifically with SMT machines. Experience with pick-and-place machines (MyData experience is a plus). Ability to program SMT machines is a plus. Working knowledge of assembling electronic products with good dexterity and attention to detail. Ability to lift 30-40 lbs.
